"BURIED IN SOHPIE'S TOMB: MY BARKING DOG LOG
TO THE WEST HOLLYWOOD SHERIFF'S DEPT."

IT'S THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE OF MAN VS. BEAST...
IT'S ONE MAN'S FIGHT TO RESOLVE NEIGHBOR'S INHUMANITY TO NEIGHBOR!

This is a solo show, set up like a "reading" of the journal that I wrote to the Sheriff's Dept. about my neighbor's barking dog. The show ran an extended run at THE FAKE GALLERY and THEATRE in January and February and was invited to perform at THE COMEDY CENTRAL STAGE, a night which was picked as THE LA WEEKLY RECOMMENDED EVENT of that day.

The show is very basically staged and easily mounted for any theatre. There are possibiilites of a show at THE POWERHOUSE THEATRE in Santa Monica for SPARK, possibly a weekend at THE CELEBRATION THEATRE in Hollywood, and possibly a show at THE ACTORS ART THEATRE in Mid-Wilshire.

There have also been ideas about using the show as a CHARITY FUNDRAISER. I LOVE THAT IDEA. If you are part of a charity or know of a charity that would like a show to use for a night, I am way positively into that concept. The show is actually rather family-friendly and all-age-friendly, too. (Not babies... I'm writing a journal about a neighbor's screaming baby right now.) Contact with me is easy and fun via the contact page.

SHOW INFO:
Richard Lucas has a domestic disturbance he'd like to report... His neighbor's 2lb. Yorkshire Terrier barks all afternoon - every day - when its owner leaves to gallivant about town. He has tried to discuss the problem, resolve the issue, offer gifts, recommend training, even extend precious moments of love... all for naught.

Finally he'd been told that the only way the authorities would step in to help would be after he turns in a 6 month Barking Dog Log.

That journal is now complete...
