This is a solo show, set up like a "reading" of the journal that I wrote to the Sheriff's Dept. about my neighbor's barking dog. The show ran an extended run at THE FAKE GALLERY and THEATRE in January and February and was invited to perform at THE COMEDY CENTRAL STAGE, a night which was picked as THE LA WEEKLY RECOMMENDED EVENT of that day.

The show, or portions of it, have played at:

  • The Fake - Los Angeles
  • Actors Art - Los Angeles
  • The Comedy Central Stage - Los Angeles
  • Spark Off Rose - Santa Monica
  • The M Bar - Los Angeles

The show is very editable for venues or groups and is available in formats anywhere from 10 minutes to 60.

The show can be easily mounted for any theatre or room, performed with no staging elements if necessary.

SHOW INFO:
Richard Lucas has a domestic disturbance he'd like to report... His neighbor's 2lb. Yorkshire Terrier barks all afternoon - every day - when its owner leaves to gallivant about town. He has tried to discuss the problem, resolve the issue, offer gifts, recommend training, even extend precious moments of love... all for naught.

Finally he'd been told that the only way the authorities would step in to help would be after he turns in a 6 month Barking Dog Log.

That journal is now complete...
